When you view life with this "new" focus, you can turn to God and say... "OK Lord, I will get through this with Your strength, then I eagerly await how You will used this to lead others to Your saving grace!" Remember, nothing happens in your life that does not pass by His eye's first.
The trials WILL come. Not if or maybe - they will come. So if we are prepared for heartache, loss and disappointment, we can handle it a bit better when they confront us. As we read John, Chapter 16, in verse 33, Jesus states clearly:
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome. Now is the time to build that strong close bond with Christ. Now is the time to be filled with words. I find comfort in certain verses and psalms that I repeat to myself the instant I know "IT" is happening. "IT" being the beginning of another trial. I have often heard it said, "we are either going into a trial, in the lull between trials or coming out of a trial." Whatever the case may be, we need to be spiritually prepared. Comments are closed.
