ME & YOU...are we like them?

We are hopefully just like them.

You know, those women  who leave it all behind.

These women found what so many are searching for.  A love so genuine that they need not fear anything.  They can walk confidently and know that their life is full; full of what life should be full of... "meaning."     Their life has purpose now and they are focused on the real meaning of life.    Me & you... well we too can leave all behind when we become one of these "certain women."    I became one of those "certain women" in 1997.

Like daisies popping up in the spring, one by one, we have found the Son and we desire to grow in His light.   The cold damp earth we have left behind and have sprouted forth!

Fear, guilt, anxiety, afraid of what lies ahead...it is all behind us.  When Christ comes to live within us it all fades away and is pushed aside by peace and inner joy.

Now we can focus on what my life should be about... Christ.
Now we are like them, those "certain women" mentioned so often in His Word.

These certain women bonded together, followed Him and served.
Wow, what a sentence.  I love those words. Can we as "certain women" do the same?

Oh, if we really could!  If we would just bond together, focus and follow Him and serve Him.   His desire is for us to work together in serving Him.  And we CAN do that.  We can bond together online, grow together and tell other's about the saving grace of Jesus.

So often many come to know Christ as Savior and then do not know what the next step is, or how to begin to study the Bible.  It is then that women begin to search, get online and pick up a piece here and a piece there.   But wait, remember, He wants us to follow Him, so begin there.

Pick up your Bible, hold it close, close your eye's and pray.
Before you open it, ask Him to open up your heart and mind to what you will read.  Ask Him to make it clear and show you what HE desires you to learn.    Do this each time you pick up your Bible to read.

You will be amazed how each and every time, you will learn something that HE desires for you to see; something that He desires to hide in your heart and mind.  This is a genuine blessing to experience!

BEGIN READING the gospel of Mark.  It gives a good amount of detail in the day to day life of Christ.  Read one chapter a day and focus on that chapter.  Re-read it.  Take note of where the reading is taking place and who is being spoken to .

As you move through the book of Mark, take time also to begin reading one Psalm per week. My favorite's are 103 and 104.

Pray over what you have read.  Questions?  Feel free to email me.
I love talking about His Word.

Along with reading His Word, if you would like to join other women who receive weekly inspiration, join "M" Words email list.
Together we can bond, grow and serve Him.  Blessings to you dear sister in Christ,

                                      JO Wilmer
