Do you know what "it" feels like?

Have you ever heard the thunder rumble in the distance and see the lightning flash in the night sky?  You sit and wait, for it to make it's way toward you.  The lights flash and with the next crack of lightning, all goes go dark.  You sit and wait for the light to return and nothing happens.  All is silent, all is dark.

You hear every little movement, every rustling sound outside the window.  You need a light.  "Where is the light?  
A flashlight, a candle, anything."  You feel helpless.  
With the light... you somehow feel safe.

But even with every light on in the house, or the sun shining brightly through the window, you still can be living in darkness.  Yes, unless the Light of Jesus is within you, you are living in darkness.  

​Jesus came to seek and to save us out of the darkness of this world and provide is with His "inner light." Jesus said,  "I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness..." John 8:12   

No matter how dark your world may get, or trials come your way, you can find comfort knowing that His Light is within you.   So is His light within you?  Have you asked Him to cleanse your sin and come to live within?  If not, do so today, for tomorrow is promised to no one.  Be sure.  Be blessed, JO
