Benefit's of being alone with God...

You and God, together.
No one can speak to God "for" you, and He patiently waits for time alone. Is there anything more important than getting alone with the One who knows your every need?

​Find your quiet place, free from distractions and sit quietly.  
​Bring your pen and a journal.  Why?
​
​Write your thoughts and prayer requests down and date your writing.  You will see why in time. ​

But before you begin your relationship with Him in prayer, be sure  you come with a pure heart.
A simple prayer outline is something like this:           
Praise, Confessing sin, Thanks, Prayer for other's, Prayer for self.

The benefit's we reap by being alone in prayer often are very hard to put into words.

• He will give you a fruitful day for Him
• He will help heal the heartache
• He will strengthen you to face the storms ahead
• He will guide and answer prayer (note that in your journal)
• He will lovingly show you humbleness & thankfulness (pride gone!)
• He will physically heal (according to His will)
• He will use you to reach other's with the message of salvation (if your heart is willing)

I cannot tell you "how" many times He has reached down to me!

• He has pulled me up from the emotional pit
• He has reached down and healed me physically
• He has answered prayer specifically as requested (note in journal for this is such a blessing to look back and see over the years!)
• He has worked in my life and placed me where He desires me to serve
• He has worked all things in my life to  show His glory (Romans 8:28)
