Mistakes, Marriage, Motherhood, Menopause...have MERCY Lord, MOLD ME and MAKE ME into the woman you desire me to be!
WELCOME...please relax a while, and let the sweet peace of God fill your heart and comfort you!
This website is focused on "special" sisters reaching out to others.
Let's talk a little about that "special" sister in Christ.
“A friend loveth at all times…” Proverbs 17:17
Trying to walk each day as a woman of faith, while facing all this world has to throw at us, is sometimes almost unbearable. But the Lord has promised He will never leave us or forsake us, and I believe that He often sends into our life, the blessing of a special sister.
A spiritually mature woman who can offer support and comfort, and is waiting to reach out with encouragement and prayer. A true sister in Christ has a desire within her heart that compels her to reach out to another who is hurting.
She has the love of Jesus within her and it shows. She is like-minded, understanding, a listener, an encourager, and a prayer warrior. There is a special bond between you as sisters in Christ. She can be relied upon to lift you up in prayer and trusted in confidence. This special sister will tell you the truth, even when it may not be what you want to hear.
Someone once told me, “Special sisters in Christ are like pillars on a porch. Sometimes they lean on you, and sometimes you hold them up. But it is always good to know that they are always standing by.”
“Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” Proverbs 27:6
We are commanded to love others as Jesus loves us. This born-again desire of “sisterly love” is a sure sign that Jesus now dwells within us.
A Sister in Christ will:
· Surrender her life
· Sincerely pray each day
· Study His Word
· Seek His will for her life
· Support another sister in need
· Select her friends wisely
· Share the gospel with others
Are you reading this and wondering...
"What are you talking about? Sister in Christ? What special bond?"
Then I would like to speak to you for a moment...
We all need to RECEIVE CHRIST AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR. You see, we are ALL sinners and need to be forgiven. Wouldn't you like to be 100% sure that you will spend eternity with Him in heaven? Jesus is waiting for you to ask Him into your life...to ask for forgiveness and a new life in Him. RECEIVING CHRIST IS SIMPLE: 1. We must realize our sin seperates us from God. We are all sinners. We are born sinners. 2. Believe that Jesus died for your sins, and that He rose in victory over death. 3. Invite Jesus to take control of your life. Just give it all to Him.He will wash away the sin and begin to change you from the inside out. Your whole life will take on a new perspective. The past is erased!
4.Only Jesus can save you from hell. Only your sincere decision to accept Jesus as your Savior, (turning to God) will save you. There is no hope of obtaining salvation through any good works, acts of kindness, priest, saint or money.
In genuine sincerity, you can speak to Jesus... Lord Jesus, I know that I am not the woman that you desire me to be.
I know I am a sinner and that my sins separate me from you.
I firmly believe that you died on the cross for my sins and suffered in my place for the condemnation that I deserve.
I come to you now for forgiveness and to surrender my life to You. Help me not to be ashamed of You. You have been patiently waiting outside the door of my heart knocking. I now open the door. Come in, Lord Jesus, and be my Lord and Savior forever. Help me live for you from this day forward. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you sincerly have spoken to Him, you are now part of the family of God…you are assured of being with Jesus someday. Forget the life of sin which is behind...you are born again! Your eternal future is secure.
You are my sister in Christ!
*CHRIST'S INVITATION to all mankind: "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him...." -- Revelation 3:20 *THE PROMISE "For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." -- Romans 10:13
Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.

HELLO GOD Hello God, I called tonight, to talk a little while. I need a friend who'll listen, to my anxiety and trial.
You see, I can't quite make it through a day just on my own, I need your love to guide me, so I'll never feel alone.
I want to ask you please to keep, my family safe and sound Come and fill their lives with confidence, for whatever fate they're bound.
Give me faith, dear God, to face, each hour throughout the day And not to worry over things, I can't change in any way.
I thank you God, for being home, and listening to my call For giving me such good advice, when I stumble and fall.
Your number, God, is the only one that answers every time I never get a busy signal, and never had to pay a dime.
So thank you, God, for listening to my troubles and my sorrow Good night, God. I love You, too, and I'll call again tomorrow! ----Author Unknown
<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< PATHWAY OF PAIN If my days were untroubled and my heart always light, would I seek that fair land where there is no night?
If I never grew weary with the weight of my load, would I search for God's peace at the end of the road?
If I never knew sickness and never felt pain, would I search for a hand to help and sustain?
If I walked without sorrow and lived without loss, would my soul seek solace at the foot of the cross?
If all I desired was mine day by day, would I kneel before God and earnestly pray?
If God sent no winter to freeze me with fear, would I yearn for the warmth of Spring every year?
I ask myself these and the answer is plain, if my life were pleasure and I never knew pain
I'd seek God less often and need Him much less, for God is sought more often in times of distress.
And no one knows God or sees Him as plain as those who have met Him on the "Pathway of Pain." -------Helen Steiner Rice
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
KEEP TRUSTING...and WAIT on the LORD Are you passing through a testing? Is your pillow wet with tears? Do you wonder what the reason and why it seems God never hears?
Why it is you have no answer to your oft-repeated plea, and why the heaven still is leaden as you wait on bended knee?
Do you wonder as you suffer, whether God does understand? And if so, why He ignores you, and fails to hold you in His hand?
Do black doubts creep in, assail you, fears without, and fears within, till your brave heart almost falters and gives way to deadly sin?
All God's testing have a purpose---some day you will see the light, All He asks is that you trust Him, walk by faith and not by sight.
Do not fear when doubts beset you, Just remember---He is near; He will never, never leave you, He will always, always hear.
Faithful is He who has promised, He will never let you fall, daily will the strength be given; strength for each and strength for all.
He will gladly share pain with you, He will gladly give you peace, till your tired and weary body finds its blessed, glad release.
When the darken veil is lifted, then dear heart, you'll understand, why it is you had to suffer, why you could not feel His hand .
Giving strength when it was needed, giving power and peace within, Giving joy thru tears and trial, giving victory over sin.
So till then just keep on trusting, thru the sunshine and the rain, thru the tears and thru the heart-aches, thru the smiles and thru the pain.
Knowing that our Father watches, knowing daily strength He'll give, victory for each passing hour, this is life, so let us live! -author unknown
Ps.31:7
"I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy:
for thou hast considered my trouble;
thou hast known my soul in adversities;"
Do not fear what lies ahead...He is always by your side.
"All of our efforts must go into bringing the Gospel, for we shall have many opportunities."
"When we read the Bible, we should never use as our guide the wisdom of men, or the standards of our own reason...if only we accept the Bible in a simple, childlike way as the Word of God."
---Corrie Ten Boom

"The beauty of a woman must be seen within her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. Loving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ will fill you with love for each other and change you forever! It is the caring that a woman lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and the love of the Lord that shows through with each passing year that makes her a woman of beauty!"

A sister in Christ, is a sister for eternity!
Remember...through the trials we MUST continue to MATURE in our faith, but MOST OF ALL, continue to be His MESSENGER each day!
We are "SISTERS IN CHRIST"
Take my hand my sister, I wish to help you along. Just knowing there are two of us can help to make you strong.
I know life seems unfair, and sometimes gets you down, But know that I am here for you, I'll always be around.
So set a day aside, and together we will walk, Down all your troubled pathways, for it helps sometimes to talk.
If you should need some time to do this on your own, Then I will be here waiting, since you wish to be alone.
I guess I want to say, that I hold your friendship dear. And if you ever need me, just reach out, cause I am here. --Author Unknown
JESUS says..."I CARE"
When you think you're alone In the middle of the night When you've just had an awful dream And you're shivering with fright You lie there alone and scared And wonder if anyone cares If you look into your heart You'll always find Me there
Sometimes life is just too hard And you need to get away You need someone to talk to Who will listen to what you say Someone who will let you know That they'll always be there When you can't find anyone Just remember that I care
When there is nowhere else to go You can always come to Me I promise that I'll be there In your greatest hour of need I'm sure you can find Me If you take the time for prayer When the whole world seems against you Just remember that I care --Author unknown
FRIENDSHIP is a priceless gift that cannot be bought or sold. But its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
For gold is cold and lifeless. It can neither see nor hear and in the time of trouble it is powerless to cheer--
It has no ears to listen Nor heart to understand, It cannot bring you comfort or reach out a helping hand
So when you ask God for a gift Be thankful if HE sends-- Not diamonds, pearls or riches But the love of real true friends.

Through The Storms
I did not know His love before, the way I know it now. I could not see my need for Him, my pride would not allow. I had it all, without a care, the "Self-sufficient" lie. My path was smooth, my sea was still, not a cloud was in my sky. I thought I knew His love for me, I thought I'd seen His grace, I thought I did not need to grow, I thought I'd found my place. But then the way grew rough and dark, the storm clouds quickly rolled; the waves began to rock my ship, my anchor would not hold. The ship that I had built myself was made of foolish pride; it fell apart and left me bare, with nowhere else to hide. I had no strength or faith to face the trials that lay ahead, and so I simply prayed to Him and bowed my weary head. His loving arms enveloped me, and then He helped me stand. He said, "You still must face this storm, but I will hold your hand." So through the dark and lonely night He guided me through pain; I could not see the light of day or when the storm might wane. Yet through the aches and endless tears, my faith began to grow...I could not see it at the time, but my light began to glow. I saw God's love in brand new light, His grace and mercy, too; for only when all self was gone could Jesus' love shine through. It was not easy in the storm, I sometimes wondered, "Why?" At times I thought, "I can't go on." I'd hurt, and doubt, and cry. But Jesus never left my side, He guided me each day. Through pain and strife, through fire and flood, He helped me all the way. And now I see as never before how great His love can be. How in my weakness He is strong, how Jesus cares for me! He worked it all out for my good, although the way was rough...He only sent what I could bear, and then He cried, "Enough!" He raised His hand and said, "Be still!" He made the storm clouds cease; He opened up the gates of joy and flooded me with peace. I saw His face now clearer still, I felt His presence strong, I found anew His faithfulness, He never did me wrong. Now I know more storms will come, but only for my good, For pain and tears have helped me grow as naught else ever could. I still have so much more to learn as Jesus works in me; If in the storm I'll love Him more, that's where I want to be!

<>< The Christ of the Bible <><
He lived in poverty and was reared in obscurity. He did not travel extensively. Only once did He cross the boundary of the country in which He lived and that was during His exile in childhood. He possessed neither name, wealth, nor influence. His relatives were inconspicuous, uninfluential, and had neither training nor education. In infancy He startled a king; in childhood He puzzled the doctors; in manhood He ruled the course of nature, walked upon billows as if pavements, and hushed the sea to sleep. He healed the multitudes without medicine and made no charge for His service. He never wrote a book, and yet all the libraries of the country could not hold the books that have been written about Him. He never wrote a song, and yet He has furnished the theme for more songs than all the songwriters combined. He never founded a college, but all the schools put together cannot boast of having as many students. He never practiced medicine, and yet He has healed more broken hearts than all the doctors far and near. The names of the past scientists, philosophers, and theologians have come and gone; but the name of this Man abounds more and more. He labored as a carpenter, opened eyes of the blind, unstopped deaf ears, loosed dumb tongues, cleansed lepers, healed the sick, restored withered hands, fed the hungry, sympathized with the sad, washed the disciples' feet, wept with Mary and Martha, preached the Gospel to the poor, went about doing good, and gave His life as a ransom for many. He is the Good Shepherd. He is the Way. He is the Life. He is the Door to Heaven. "I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive forevermore, and have the keys of hell and of death." He is Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of the living God! My Saviour, my Companion, my Lord and King! -Author unknown-
