There is no need for you to feel as if you are just "hanging in there" from day to day - feeling as if you are "inside out."
We all struggle with our own burdens in this life. At times we may feel bruised and battered deep within.
Some of us go day to day running on empty feeling worn and faded. Instead of feeling fresh and renewed each day, we feel as if we are "inside out." We need something to turn us right side out, to renew us, refresh us and fill us with a new vigor for life.
Well just like that label inside of that lovely garment blowing in the breeze, you too have a label...it is you identity in Christ.
Your identity in Christ is what keeps you refreshed, alive and full of His strength. The devil would like for you to feel weak and worn by forgetting just "who" you are through Christ. He would love to see you in distress and insecure, feeling "inside out."
His desire is to see a tattered garment blowing in the breeze; frayed and faded.
But as a child of God, we know the truth! God has made us "alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved) and has raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in heavenly places" (Ephesians 2:5-6).
Our identity in Christ is our weapon that breaks the stronghold of the enemy. As a child of God, we know that He knows our deepest thoughts, feels our deepest hurts and knows us inside out. We are so precious and valuable to Him and His desire is to refresh and renew us daily. The enemy of this world would like you to believe otherwise - that you are worn and worthless, unworthy of love and care. The enemy will use every opportunity to make you feel undesirable and flawed - not worthy of true forgiveness and cleansing. But that is when you remind the enemy of your label - for your label has this written on it: "Forgiven/Child of God."
Take some quiet time this evening and read Psalm 139: 1-18.
Oh how He knows us from the inside out!
I am worthy. I am loved. I am forgiven.
I am known by an Almighty God. I am His child.
I am renewed and refreshed by His love.
I love You Lord from the inside out.
Your love will shine within me when all else fails.
My heart and my soul, I give You control.
Consume me Lord, from the inside out!
From the Inside Out... listen and be filled from the inside out.
