Make no mistake about it, certain women are placed on our path for a purpose.
No matter where we live, what our background, we really are all very much the same.
We all struggle at times with day to day life, our faith and the past.
Who am I?
Just an ordinary woman scattering some encouraging seeds of faith.
Hello there, I am Jo Wilmer, the founder of "M" Words and the Christian Woman.
In 2004, this site came to be after illness and surgery left me emotionally, physically and spiritually drained. This experience enabled God to open my heart and mind to the priorities that God intends for His genuine women of faith. For it is here and now, that we must stand along side each other with encouragement and prayer.
Have you ever desired to have that "one" special person that you knew would be there to lean on anytime?
During my time of illness in 2004, God sent me a special blessing. He placed on my path a beautiful sister in Christ. We connected through a Christian woman's site and have been bonded by heart for over 14 years. Through the trials, tears and joys, we have stood strong together through encouragement and prayer. She is the one I contact immediately, when I have urgent prayer needs.
But there is something unusual about our friendship... we have never met face to face!
For you see, with Christ living within, we are like-minded and connected by heart for eternity.
Women of faith need other women of faith to stand along side them.
I pray you will not miss the blessing that God gives us through Sister's In Christ.
May you find peace for the journey knowing that there ARE eternal sisters that care!
I write for various faith sites, ministry magazine's in Romania & Nigeria, as well as for a youth/teen devotional magazine. Over the years, I have been a teacher with Child Evangelism Fellowship and in women's Bible study. It has been a blessing to be involved in online outreach as a missionary through Global Media Outreach, and also in the founding of "M" Words and the Christian Woman in 2004.
There are no words to express the wonder of how God can work in the lives of so many women, near and far. For no matter where we live or who we are, we are all the same in His eyes. We are His, and as His women of faith, we are bonded for eternity.
Who am I? No one special, but I am your sister in Christ.
