![]() There is a growing problem and most people do not understand their body well enough to realize just what the problem could be. Much of the population is not educated about the symptoms that they are experiencing. If these symptoms are not addressed and treated, they can lead to obesity, heart disease, depression, anxiety, hair loss, infertility, and more. Here are some of the most common symptoms that some people experience with this physical problem:
What can be the problem? Your thyroid.Any of these symptoms sound familiar? Before moving on with your symptoms...let me say you should see your doctor and get extensive blood testing done. Ask for the "entire thyroid panel and antibodies testing" not just a TSH blood test.
As for me, I do have a thyroid issue...or I did have a serious issue. I control by diet and other alternative methods. I am a combination of both of these lists above. I have Hashimoto's. Most women I know or have spoken to while working in healthcare have hypothyroidism, or low thyroid function. People can suffer with symptoms for years and conventional doctors do not know how to treat because of all the symptoms or just give you several prescriptions and tell you come back in 6 months. What makes matters worse is that, in most cases, hypothyroidism isn’t caused in a thyroid problem in the first place, it is a problem with our immune system gone crazy. You must include blood testing for the antibodies that show the presence of autoimmunity. According to Dr Datis Kharrazian, most people with hypothyroidism have Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune hypothyroid condition, whereby the immune system attacks thyroid tissue. Therefore, to cure thyroid disease, or any autoimmune condition, you have to get to the source of the imbalance; focusing on suppression of symptoms with medication is simply barking up the wrong tree.
