The world will try to mold you... but
be determined to be the woman that GOD
desires for you to be!
What do you see?
What do you focus on?
What really is "you" and not the world?
Obsessed. The perfect word for the world we live in. We are obsessed.
We are NEVER without our cell phones. We are NEVER out of contact with others.
Social media has molded and formed many into animated beings, following every thought and whim that is presented before our eyes. The clothes we wear, music we listen to, relationships, lifestyle...all are being shaped by the world.
We seem to NEVER be alone. There presently exists a generation or two that NEVER desires to step out in faith but needs to be dependent and assured before taking a step on their own. This is not what a loving and caring God desires for you.
God desires for you to focus on Him, not the world around you. Oh, how you need Him! Sadly, many will never realize how much they needed Him until it just may be too late.
We are created with a "void" inside that can only be filled by a loving God who waits for us to focus on Him. Without Him living inside of us we have this hole of emptiness, confusion and uncertainty. We begin to believe all the world shows us to be true - but it is not the real truth.
“They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator–who is forever praised. Amen.”
His Word is truth and the truth will set you free from the world of lies. Oh how I wish so many would open their hearts and minds to a loving God who waits...waits for us to need Him! When our focus and life is filled with Him, all else makes sense and works together for our good. He waits for us to draw close to Him and yet the world pulls us away.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8
Why on earth would anyone pass up the opportunity to be eternally secure, confident of their future, and filled with inner joy and peace?
~Oh, God, how we need You!
Take time to draw close to Him and listen...
